Extraordinary Expenses
Carrier Associated Expenses
When carriers are brought into the market to support an electronics customer and making ancillary deliveries, an adjustment to the proceedure needs to be made.
- Capture EO costs how you normally would for the customer
- Bring in all carrier shifts associated with the distibution zone of the customer
- If there are more carrier shifts than local shifts that were ran to the customer, replace the distribution cost with $2000 multiplied by the number of shifts run for the customer.
- If there are less carrier shifts than local shifts, replace distribution cost by $2000 for the amount of carrier shifts, then add the standard distribution cost based on miles for the remaining local shifts adding up to the total number of shifts.
- If there was purchased product, offset the amount of spot product with local product to find an incremental cost.
